Fulham reject Atalanta’s transfer approach for Rodrigo Muniz
Fulham received an approach from Serie A side Atalanta to sign Rodrigo Muniz, but the Craven Cottage outfit rejected the possibility of selling him to the Italian team, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The future of the 24-year-old Brazilian striker has been in doubt in recent days, with clubs like Leeds United reportedly pushing to lure him away from London.
This is what Di Marzio said:
Atalanta have identified Rodrigo Muniz , a 2001-born player from Fulham who has been explored by the club’s management, as the ideal candidate to bring into the team. He’s currently their top attacking target. Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi has just been in England trying to finalize negotiations with the English club and reach a final agreement to bring Muniz to Bergamo. At this time, however, Fulham have not yet agreed to a transfer for the player.
