Bench Rodrigo Muniz proves his worth again, so why would Fulham even consider cashing in?

Amid a summer of transfer market frustration, Marco Silva’s description of the club’s approach as “passive” is ringing in the ears of every Fulham fan.

The squad that fought its way to a respectable 11th-place finish is crying out for reinforcements to build on last season’s efforts.

But just when the mood needed a lift, a familiar hero stepped up to earn a vital point.

Rodrigo Muniz. You just can’t keep him out of the conversation. With rumours swirling about a potential move away from Craven Cottage, he came off the bench against Brighton to do what he does best, placing home a vital equaliser with clinical precision.

The man has built a reputation, and he delivered yet again. The numbers don’t lie, and they tell a story every Fulham fan knows. Since the beginning of last season, no player in the entire Premier League has scored more goals from the bench than our Rodrigo, with seven to his name.

So, with attacking options already looking thin on the ground and the manager clearly wanting more, the thought of letting him leave seems unthinkable.

In this market, you can’t buy a goalscorer with his proven impact for a sensible price. We already have one. Selling him doesn’t just feel like a bad idea. It feels like madness.
