Fulham to play Bristol City in the Carabao Cup second round

Fulham will play Bristol City at Craven Cottage the week of the 25th of August. 

Bristol City eased past Milton Keynes Dons in the Carabao Cup first round, with an impressive 2 – 0 win at Ashton Gate. The Robins were ahead after just six minutes following a header from club captain Jason Knight.

Marco Silva will be hoping his Fulham side can push aside a buoyant Bristol City side, who, at the time of writing, have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season. The Robins have made the semi-finals of this competition 3 times, including as recently as 2018.

This will be the first meeting between Fulham and Bristol City since January 2022, when Fulham emphatically beat The Robins 6-2. Fulham fans will be hoping for more of the same in the Second Round and to progress in the competition.
