2 reasons why Fulham could sign Shakhtar winger and Napoli target Kevin
Fulham have a couple of reasons to believe they can beat Napoli in the race to sign Shakhtar winger Kevin (22).
Fabrizio Romano reported that the Original London Club have submitted a new, improved offer for the Brazilian of around £32 million, with the Ukrainian club demanding around £43.3 million.
The same journalist previously informed that Napoli are another club interested in Kevin. Below, we’ll explain two reasons why Fulham have real chances to secure the player’s signature.
2 reasons why Fulham could sign Shakhtar winger and Napoli target Kevin
1. Shakhtar have already secured Kevin’s replacement
Aware of the interest generated by the 22-year-old winger, Shakhtar have already secured the signing of who is very probably Kevin’s successor.
The Italian journalist we recently cited reported that the Ukrainian club have already secured the signing of Lucas Ferreira (2006) from Sao Paulo for around £8 million.
This is a clear indicator that Shakhtar are already thinking about a future without Kevin.
2. Kevin is not Napoli’s priority
As reported by Football Italia, while it’s true that Napoli are looking to sign a winger, this isn’t their priority in this transfer window.
The mentioned outlet explains that the real focus of the Italian club’s sporting direction is signing Spanish duo Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla and Miguel Gutierrez from Girona.
“Only at a later date will Napoli consider making an approach for another attacking winger,” they wrote on the cited portal.
